There is an art to everything … and portrait photography is no exception. It is not every day we have a portrait made, so let's make it special.

We all know what we don't want! Take all these things away and what is left is the simplicity of natural lighting, a beautiful location and what Henri Cartier-Bresson called 'the decisive moment'.

Sessions are very relaxed with no forced smiles. Photographs can be black and white or colour. To allow for everyone’s needs they usually last one to two hours depending on the location.

On location photography can mean anything from a dramatic beach setting to a leafy carpeted woodland ... a lovely old oak tree in your favourite season, to the comfort of your own home and garden ... the choice is up to you. There is even a daylight studio for babies too young for outdoors.

Once an image has been captured … the creative process begins again as printmaking techniques, fine presentation and the best framing are used to produce pieces that will hold pride of place in your home.

At Turner Studios all are passionate about creating portraits that will bring a smile and fill you with pride every time you see them.

Fine Art Photography


The pages of fashion and interior design magazines illustrate how incredibly popular fine-art photography has become as a feature in some of the most prestigious homes, here in the UK and abroad.

Now well established as art, large and important collections of both vintage and contemporary fine-art photographs are featured at many leading museums and art galleries world-wide; including the Victoria & Albert Museum and the National Portrait Gallery in London, the Metropolitan Museum and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
